Fourth of July | Outfit Ideas

Besides looking for quick and easy craft projects to do, I also think about outfits I want to create for each holiday. However I try to stay away from holiday specific theme clothing like stars or american flags because I want to be able to wear my clothing year around. Instead of focusing on themes, I like to put outfits together around colors that coordinate with each holiday.

Today, I put together two different looks for Fourth of July and I already know which one I'm learning towards!

With it being so hot in Texas, specifically Houston, dresses are a summer staple as they provide a nice breeze to keep you cool. Pairing a simple dress with a necklace takes it up a notch but also adding in low wedges or sandals keeps the outfit from becoming too serious. And the drawstring on this dress helps accentuate your waist.

This top just screams picnic and don't get me started on the adorable bow back, too die for. Pairing this cutesy top with jean shorts creates such a comfortable outfit that you can run around in and those sandals, I want. Adding to cart...now!

And what kind of mom would I be without thinking about what my little will wear?? Sophia already owns this adorable set and will be rocking the gingham and bloomers with her little white bow.

Tell me you aren't outfit scheming now? Just remember, you don't always have to buy the latest to create cute outfits, learn to work your closet by mixing and matching what you already have.
