Before we get ready for a birthday party this weekend, it's time for the next roundup of my everyday style. Remember for real time feed follow me on Instagram (@stormieariel) and my outfits are always captioned with #stormiearielstyle and if you can't get enough of my Little Love she has her own hashtag #sophiamanuela
I think this month, I was definitely coming into my own and getting more comfortable with my style again. As some of you may know I was struggling with my style as a nursing momma but just pull up that shirt girl! You don't need fancy nursing tops to feed your child. You can still rock your normal wardrobe, look fashionable and feed the kid. Win, win, win for everyone.
Olive and black and white stripes are a no brainer and are always a go-to match in my book.
We were heading to a house warming party so I decided to keep it casual with the maxi skirt paired with a tank. I think when you have simple tanks like these jazzed up a bit with a design, it takes the outfit up a notch without compromising comfort.
I was never one to pair different shades of whites together but I think I'm loving it now.
On a normal day, you won't find me dressed up but sporting my comfiest shorts and a regular tee. This one just happens to be my favorite tee as my middle name is Ariel.
I was wearing my mom uniform before Anthony called me to get ready to head out for lunch so I quickly threw on my vest over my nursing cami and switched out my nike shorts for my maxi skirt and added the statement sandals.
I shared a blooper of my photoshoot for my outfit recap to the Houston Bloggers May Meetup and I have to say I am totally in love with this outfit. I need to find somewhere else to where it to.
Top (similar) | Crop Pants (similar) | Jean Jacket (similar) | Statement Necklace (similar) | Cage Heels (similar) | Clutch (similar)
Again, I stick to my mom uniform pretty strictly on days with nothing to do but keeping a baby alive.
on me: Nursing Cami | Nike Shorts (similar)
Heading out to watch my pre-k classes graduate so I had to be sure to keep my outfit comfy but fashionable.
I was so excited to get my new sandals in that I quickly put an outfit together although the rain ruined my chances of keeping my sandals on so I switched them out for my trusty rainboots.
Again you can't go wrong with comfort but by pairing them with cute sandals, it makes the outfit look a little more finished (at least that's what I'm telling myself).
This outfit was initially suppose to showcase my new sandals but I got rained out of them again. At least, they are getting a lot of action this year.
As you can see, my clothes are constantly on repeat but they are just being mixed around to create new looks without having to buy new clothes, #closetremix at it's finest. Don't be fooled though, it took me almost a year to get this thing down and to break out of my shell on sticking to those pesky fashion rules.
What's your go to look? Has the weather been cramping your style?
